This is my 9th bimonthly news letter. Today we start a new cycle: The 5 senses. (maybe I will also go to the 6th sense not sure yet 
).
I only feature images that are not popular yet, as it is so easy to make great features with images that are already popular, but I want to make a feature with images not yet popular that I think would get a lot more popular if they would be seen. So the pictures I feature all have less then 100 favs at the time I feature them. I hope you will enjoy them.
VISUAL PERCEPTION
Visual perception is the ability to interpret information from visible light reaching the eye
It act of vision starts when the lens of the eye focuses an image of it sourroundings unto a light-sensitive membrane in the back of the eye called the retina.

The second part of seeing is the interpretation of the image in the eye.
We sort what we see the following groups:
- what is close to each other
- what looks similar to each other
- closeness (what ever is closed in itself will be recognized more quickly)
However this can be fooled easily in what we call optic illusions

Eyes are our most important sense that is why we focus more on the way we look, then on how we sense for others when they touch us, or how we smell.

We use this sense also to gain knowledge and give knowledge on to others, through reading and books:

The condition of lacking of the visual perception is called blindness. There are different maladies leading to blindness or partial blindness, like Cataracts.
