Looks like.. real men don't rap s. I don't really like the message.. I mean the way it is written. It's a positive message with a negative form. "Real men" don't just not rape. I think you should add something that the supposed positive figueres of the real man do. For example "Real men don't rape, real men protect." I'm sure you can think of things real men do to be "real". Not raping doesn't make a positive figure.. it just makes rapists false men... duh. Make a statement about what the real men do.

mhm i am not sure i agree. the important thing about this message isn't, what a real man should do. or to define a real man. its more that in some places and some societies it has come to be seen as a coolness or a manly thing, to rape someone. and this message is actually about that. to say that there is nothing cool, sexy and least of all MANLY at raping. it isn't a sign of strength but of weakness.
im a woman so i shouldn't be the one telling what a real man does, i just can tell that rape is absolutly wrong.

Yes, you define it... but in my opinion in a weak way. Wether you say one thing be or be not something, it's in both ways a process of defining.
Which culture do you refer to? I can't think of a culture.. at least not a culture that functions in the modern times that accepts raping as of showing the qualities you mentioned. I can surely point accents in our culture (western) that surely lead to accepting the aggressive behavior to women and weaker people and demining women and weaker people. You just have to turn the TV on. Listen to one of the modern rap stars songs and watch their videos.

The point of my comment was that this message will be, in my opinion, much better if you could add a positive sense to the figure of that to what you think of as a "real man". I'm sure you can do it. You can know something by not just telling what it is not. I think this is the place where the whole idea is weak. We are afraid to put some moral guidelines and/but we do experience problems like the raping. Why not present an idea of a real man as being something, and not as NOT being something that is widely approved as wrong. We in our culture know there is nothing manly in raping... but the problem that actually brings raping is that there is no idea what manly actually is. We get lost at it. As having just IS NOT, DOES NOT.. we are not striving to achieve something... We just get reminded from time to time about fucked up stuff that can happen. We are afraid of moral. We do everything to destroy moral as a social restrain but we are weak to use moral as a social guideline. When a 100 years ago moral oppressed homosexuals and today we see this moral as pathological, it did a pretty good job with creating a much non rapist society.
